The biggest difference is that this spray gives you more control than many traditional sea salt sprays. It allows you to build your hairstyle, add some height, and keep that textured appearance without making your hair feel overly stiff or heavy..
For the best results, I prefer applying it to completely dry hair. This gives me more control over exactly how the final hairstyle looks. You can also apply it to damp hair if you want more volume and frizz control, but dry application gives you the most precision.
What's the hold like?
To test the hold, I first styled my hair as high as possible and took a before photo. Then I used a wind machine at three different levels to see how well the product could handle increasingly strong wind.
I analyzed the results using an AI model that looks at changes in the hairstyle, including individual hair strand movement and changes in the overall width and shape of the hair.

When increasing the wind intensity, the hairstyle loosened slightly, but the overall shape remained surprisingly stable.
The hair became a little wider and less controlled, but the product still maintained good structure.
